You can’t answer the phone with both hands on a wet dog.
Most good mobile groomers are not short of customers — they are short of hours. The money leaks out through the calls you cannot take, the slots that go empty at 8am, and the hour of admin after the last dog. Your site should be picking all of that up while you work.
You are not short of customers. You are short of hours.
Good mobile groomers are usually booked weeks out. Almost nothing is lost finding new people — it leaks out through the calls you cannot take, the slots that empty at 8am, and the evening spent doing admin.
01
The call comes while both hands are on a wet dog
You cannot put a soapy Golden down to answer the phone, so it goes to voicemail — and someone looking for a groomer today rings the next name on the list before you have towelled off. You never find out it happened, which is exactly why it keeps happening. A booking page takes that call at 7pm on a Sunday without interrupting a single groom.
02
The fix for no-shows is a card, not a sterner policy
Reminders help, warnings do not. What actually changes behaviour is money already committed. Taking a deposit at the moment of booking makes the slot worth something to them before you turn the key — and on the rare occasion they still vanish, you are not out the fuel and the two appointments you could have reached instead.
03
“Do you come to me?” has to be answered in three seconds
Google’s own suggestions for “mobile dog grooming near me” include within 1 mi, within 5 mi and within 20 mi. People search by distance. If someone has to message you to find out whether you cover their street, most of them simply do not. We put a ZIP check where your hero image usually sits.
04
Half your admin is questions a form should have asked
Wrong address, nowhere to park, a rooftop AC unit that will not clear the garage, a matted coat booked in as a bath. Each one costs you a phone call, a detour or an argument on the doorstep. Breed, coat condition, parking and clearance are four fields on a booking form, and they turn into a repair bill you never pay again.
What you actually get
Built for a route, not a reception desk
Six things that decide whether a van day runs full and on time.
Service-area check, front and centre
Visitors type their ZIP or postcode and immediately see whether you cover them, what the travel fee is if they are on the edge, and what the next free window looks like.
Deposit-gated booking
A card held or a deposit taken when the appointment is made. Your policy, in your words, shown before they confirm — not buried in a confirmation email.
An intake form that plans the stop
Breed, weight, coat condition with photos, temperament, plus the mobile-only fields: driveway or street, power and water access, gate code, overhead clearance.
Arrival windows instead of exact times
Traffic is not your fault, but a missed 10:00 feels like it. Windows plus an automatic “on my way” text set the expectation and stop the where-are-you calls.
Cats treated as a real service
“Mobile pet groomers near me for cats” is its own search. Most mobile sites bury cats in a footnote. If you take cats, we give them a page — it is a quieter, better-paying corner of the market.
Missed-enquiry follow-up
Enquiries arrive while your hands are full of wet dog. Missed calls, texts and form fills get an instant, human-sounding reply and land in one place for the evening.
Keep your van software. We build what sits in front of it.
MoeGo and Pawfinity both sell mobile as a proper product line, and if you are on one of them it is running your day for a reason. Keep it. What it gives you is the same customer-facing page every other van on that platform gets. We build the part that makes someone choose you — and hand them straight into the booking flow you already pay for.

Getting found, not just built
A great site nobody finds is just an expensive brochure.
Ranking a van is not the same job as ranking a salon — there is no shopfront address to put on the map, so the whole game is the area you cover. That work is included, not sold back to you later.
A Google profile set up as a service area, not a shop
A van has no storefront to put on the map. Google lets a service-area business hide its address and list the areas it covers instead — set up wrong, you compete for one pin instead of showing up across your whole route. We set it up properly and keep your areas, hours and services matching the site.
A page for each area you actually drive to
Somebody searching “mobile dog grooming” plus their suburb should land on a page that names that suburb, not a generic home page. We build these only for areas you genuinely cover — thin pages spun up for towns you never visit are the fastest way to get demoted.
The technical side handled, so you never think about it
Speed, mobile layout, the structured data that produces those expandable answers in Google, sitemaps, redirects when a URL changes, SSL, uptime. It is the unglamorous half of being found, and it is included rather than sold back to you as an extra.
Reviews pointed at the profile that wins you work
Reviews are the strongest signal a local business controls. We wire the automatic ask into the end of an appointment and send people to the profile that matters, so it stops depending on you remembering to ask while holding a wet dog.
What we will not do is promise you a position on Google. Nobody can, and anyone who does is guessing with your money. We do the work that is known to matter, show you what changed, and let the booking calendar be the proof.
Straight prices, no sales call

Where these numbers come from
Working groomers, not market reports
Every figure on this page is something a real operator said or published, with a date attached.
5–6dogs a typical mobile groomer fits into a dayWorking groomers, r/doggrooming, 2026
20–30 minaverage drive between two appointmentsMobile groomer, r/doggrooming, Feb 2026
“within 5 mi”a top Google suggestion for “mobile dog grooming near me”Google autocomplete, checked Aug 2026

You will notice there is no “mobile grooming is a $X billion market” line anywhere here. No government or industry source separates mobile from salons and boarding, so every figure circulating online for it is guesswork. We would rather give you four numbers you can check than fifteen you cannot.

Review 1 of 5: Bradley Zimmer
These are for company, team and growth work rather than grooming websites — we would rather show you what is genuinely ours than borrow someone else’s. Upvave is building its grooming portfolio right now, which is exactly why Founding 25 terms are what they are.

Good questions

If your question is not here, send it our way. We are happy to talk it through.
01I already use MoeGo (or Pawfinity). Do I have to move?+
No, and we would tell you if you should. Both of them sell mobile as a proper product line and they run your day well. What they hand you is the same customer-facing page every other van on that platform gets. We build the part in front of it — the site that makes someone choose you — and pass them straight into the booking flow you already pay for.
02I am one van. Is this overkill?+
One van is exactly who this is for. When you can only fit five or six dogs into a day, one no-show is a much bigger percentage of your week than it would be for a salon with three tables. Smaller operations get more out of fixing this, not less.
03Should my prices be on the site?+
Yes. After location, price is the most common thing people add to a mobile grooming search — “prices”, “cheap”, “for large dogs”. Hiding it does not get you more calls, it gets you calls from people who leave when they hear the number. A clear from-price filters for you.
04Can it handle a second van later?+
Yes, and we build it that way from the start. Two calendars and two service areas is a very different site from one, and retrofitting it later is the expensive version.
05Do you handle cats?+
Your site should. “Mobile pet groomers near me for cats” is its own search and most mobile sites bury cats in a footnote. If you take them, we give them their own space — it is a quieter, better-paying corner of the market.
06How long does it take, and what does it cost?+
Websites start at $600 and most are live in two to three weeks. Care and hosting from $80 a month. You do not need a sales call to get those numbers — they are on this page.
07What happens after I ask for the free review?+
We look at your current site and enquiry journey the way a pet parent three miles off your route would, then send back the clearest next move in plain language. No obligation and no technical homework.
